Meet Amber.

Amber Wobschall is the Founder and Principal of Bold Protea.

Since 2022, Bold Protea has been helping smaller non-profits and local businesses with their digital challenges, including email marketing, Squarespace site set up, fundraising and more.

Prior to consulting, Amber helped found Porchlight Wellness, a non-profit that provided healing yoga workshops to survivors of sexual assault. Before that she spent half a decade at Planned Parenthood Federation of America and the Action Fund. She served as the Director of Digital Fundraising and Supporter Engagement. She managed an amazing team that raised millions of dollars online and helped drive millions of contacts with elected officials at key moments when reproductive health and wellness were under attack. Creativity, nimbleness, testing and optimization were key drivers of the team’s spectacular results.

In addition to her professional experience, Amber loves learning and trying new things. She is currently taking pottery classes, experimenting with natural dyeing, supporting her local farmers (Flowers x Flores and Owls Nest), eating Manifest bread, walking her dogs, learning about native plants, and planning vacations. She and her husband, Jeremy once spent 13 months traveling the world, and now reside in University Park, Maryland with their two rescue dachshund mixes.
